Walk on Alberta is a local-travelogue, and an instrument for me to learn to make better photographs. In 2003, I spent the year taking local transportation through Eastern Africa, and parts of India. On my trip, everything was different from my normal daily landscape, and it changed the way I see. Light and color, the pace on the street, natural and man-made objects composing a landscape are more noticeable when it’s beyond your normal. I’m still traveling, but for much shorter time periods. Walk on Alberta is my daily reminder to apply that traveler’s perspective to my everyday landscape.

Currently I’m not accepting comments on this blog, this may change but probably not. Sharing posts on social media is encouraged!
